But the real trick the article fails to mention, was their being able to get the birds to agree to migrate earlier each year, the trees to bud earlier each spring, the flowers to bloom earlier each year, etc. Apparently, the UGW (United Greeny Workers) extracted considerable consessons, including a few having sold their souls. The conspiracy was so well organized, that the CIA didn't even figure it out despite the extensive work required to get the Cherry blossoms to bloom before the Annual Cherry Festival in Washington D.C.
I'm sure there are a few ethically-challenged individuals on BOTH sides of this argument that have played their data. And even IF some doctored data (the above article ONLY cites "... and disparaged climate-change skeptics), I mean, it's not as if a former President was overheard calling a reporter a "what an ass", or a former Vice President dropping an "F-bomb" directly at a member of a member of Congress...
There is absolutely nothing to prove that data were actually changed, to alter study results. "What if-ing" is a common method of using existing data in building scientific models.
Sorry, but this is going beyond "turning a mole-hill into a mountain". It looks like they're trying to turn a pimple into Mount Everest.

JCS319, Al Gore's a hypocrite, pure and simple. He's been fearmongering about global warming, while making millions trading carbon credits and contributing far more than the average Joe does to pollution. Yet, Dembots who have apparently been relieved of any thinking ability, continue to worship at his altar.
Re the FL election, Dems cried about it for years. Interestingly, no Dembot wanted to discuss the fact that Al Gore did not win his own home state of TN (something even Walter Mondale managed against the Reagan landslide). Had Gore won TN, FL would have been a moot point. No one has ever won the Presidency without winning his home state!
History WILL laugh derisively at those who fall for Gore's hypocrisy!

Where is the outrage against the unparalleled release of greenhouse gasses by bovines and volcanoes. I say every card-carrying environmentalist should support the following initiatives:
First, the immediate extermination of all deer, elk, moose and buffalo in the 50 states. Unlike our domesticated and regulated herds of cows, these dangerous, free and uncontrolled creatures are releasing tons of methane and CO2 into our atmosphere daily. Since they are beyond Government control, they MUST be stopped at all costs. While we're at it, let convert those pesky whale to dogfood. I'll bet each one farts even more than a moose!!!
Second, we should blockade the Hawaiian Islands and enforce a strict embargo of all products in and out of this traitorous state. How dare a putatively DEMOCRATIC state such as Hawaii, allow their volcanoes to belch out CO, CO2, Sulfur Dioxide and other noxious gases into the pristine Pacific skies. An immediate "Cap and Trade" of the Volcanoes National Park should be instituted. No,no,no...don't whine about feasibility, uselessness, cost or damage to the local and national economy. As our Ultra-green friends have reminded us so often, "When your mind is made up, don't try and confuse me with the facts."

Why? because we would live better lives and be happier. Then, if it turns out there is no god, we would still be ahead of those who didnit believe in a god.
And if there IS a god then believers would be much better off than the atheists because this god would reward them and the atheists would end up in Hell.
The belief in climate change seems to me to be like this.If I bet that climate change IS taking place and do my part to slow it down (if not halt it altogether) I make the world at least a little better for my childredn and grandchildren. Then, if climate change turns out to be a gross exaggeration,if not a lie, then at least I have done my part to make the world a bit better.
Then again, if the Chicken Littles are right...or at least partly right,then I am doing somethingin constructive and not sitting back and polluting the world and making it hotter and less liveable.

It always surprises me on how much the far-right hates Al Gore. Al Gore wasn't even president. Their man won on what easily could have been a rigged election in Florida (we'll never know) and still they hate him! Probably because history is more likely to smile on Al Gore than on former President Bush.

Tell me something I already didn't know. Global Warming is not caused by man it has cycles that are directly related to the Sun's energy output or Solar flares. During high Solar flare actively the earth warms and during low it cools and here is a link to a study that was done on this. It's a great Video.

How about the attempts within the science communities to silence those who disagree with the left wing nut cases. There was a serious effort several years ago to have local weathermen removed from their jobs who didn't support global warming. How wrong is that? And that was just the tip of a very large iceberg of abuse and intimidation.

I have been telling people for years that there was no real evidence for global warming and that it was political crap. What bothers me is that these people knew they were lying to us and have cost America hundreds of thousand of jobs, billions of dollars, political voting mis-direction, and destruction of many of our existing manufacturers. And of course, the main news media is letting it slide under their radar. All of these people, including Gore, should be prosecuted.

Earth gets cooler, then warmer. It's Nature ! Man has very little to do with "Global Warming".Ok a little but nothing to do with it happening. Man may increase the effect by a few years but man is not the cause. Remember these are the people who said back in the 70's we where to be in a "Ice Age" by the year 2000.

They were taken out of context alright. How can they predict global warming when most of the time they can't get tomorrow's weather right, and definately can't forecast a week in advance. I am with the geologists on this one.
