Sorry Tomok, you're wrong....
The $1.8 billion project was completed on schedule and on budget, the company said. And with one of the nation’s strictest air emissions permits, the plant is among the cleanest in the nation.
In addition to coal, the plant will burn biomass and gob, which is waste coal that’s been sitting around Southwest Virginia for decades. It has been touted as a cost-effective way to remove the material from polluted streams.

I'll be fine with letting the market decide only if the cost of all the pollution associated with coal use is included in the price. Yes, that does include CO2. Here's to the people smart enough to invent and operate a complete coal solution.

Clean Coal? There is no clean coal! How much did DEJr get paid to do this? There may be huge coal deposits in the US but putting that much CO2 in the air everyday producing electricity is going to adversely affect the environment. Make electricity from many renewable energy sources – solar, wind, hydro, thermal, tidal and/or nuclear. Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! 12/22/2012!

The current president is doing all he can to shut down coal power plants. The electric prices won't go up until after the election.

Dale is being hoodwinked as there is really no such thing as clean coal according to scientists but natural gas is cleaner and cheaper than any coal. Like in many other things, money will make good people support unworthy causes.

It will take a long time for coal to be weened out as the power source to boil water to make steam.

The U.S. needs all the available sources of energy that there is, even coal if it is the most cost-effective choice and not too over-regulated.
Dale Jr. also races in NASCAR which is sponsored by the ethanol lobby which I don't agree with.
