If I were to yell at another motorist, it would most likely be: stay far out of their way!

hang up and drive for sure! There is nothing more annoying than someone driving slow in the fast lane and then when you go and pass them they are on their phone not paying any attention to anyone. There are several more scenarios where people aren't paying attention to the road or others around them, and of course they are on their phones. ANNOYING!!!

It seems like a lot of people are paying more attention to what someone is doing in their car rather than on the road. All it takes is a couple of seconds of distraction and someone cutting you off for it be a close call.

Yep - hang up and drive. However, in my neck of the woods a turn signal is probably a factory defect with the vehicle.

I got hit by a kid text messaging and he did not get a ticket because there was no damage to my car. When I told the cop he said that he could not prove it. What the hell is going on? In the state of Michigan or governor and representatives can't get it together and make laws about real problems. They go around, patting themselves on the back by creating 100 jobs in the movie industry or 20 jobs at google, as we loose 20,000 jobs in Autos Fire those Bastards now! Michigan is going down in flames and our leaders are throughing gas on the fire!!!

Sure, people make mistakes, and as professional drivers, we anticipate a good deal of them. We constantly adjust for others incompetence. HOWEVER... Why can't people use their turn signals? WHY ??? Do they need to be shown how to use the complicated things? Are they afraid of wearing them out? Do they think the power required for the signal is more than their car can handle? That's it! They don't think ! Obviously all other drivers on the road possess mental telepathy or some kind of magical powers to anticipate their intentions. Why do accidents happen? ... I can't imagine.

"Get off my bumper!" would be my most likely outburst. It never ceases to amaze me how many fools feel the need to tail-gate. I'm certain that more accidents are caused by tail-gaters than speeding, abrupt lane changes, or other offenses. There is never a good reason to tail-gate! 'Pressuring' someone in front of you to "get out of my way" is juvenile. There is a clear disregard for personal safety (including carefree children pedestrians) when a driver tail-gates. (Sometimes the vehicle in front will have some sort of emergency to deal with.) tail-gaters reduce their reaction time drastically and endanger other lives needlessly. They may simply get to the next 'Red' light first. It is a good indicator of a driver with other very poor judgment issues. tail-gaters fully deserve terrible insurance rates.

My pet peeve is the number of New Brunswickers who fail to use their turn signal when changing lanes or turning somewhere. When or where did they get the idea that their signals are optional equipment ?! They would NEVER have gotten their driver's license if they drove that way when they got tested.

Had it been listed I would have chosen "that was a red light you just went through" or (mostly for bicycles) "you just blew through a stop sign".

I can't get over the fact that people, especially ladies, dial up as soon as they get in the car and then struggle to get out of a parking lot while juggling the cell phone and the steering wheel. Are they that much in a rush that they have to make a call so soon?

One of my biggest pet peeves is motorists who feel they have the God-given right to drive in the passing lane as if it were their road. I don't mind when they are passing but when they just stay there when you pull up behind them and they are JUST doing the speed limit. MOVE OVER!!!!!!

I don't yell. Rather, I direct a middle finger salute at those who clearly do not accept their obligation to drive their vehicles responsibly.

I chose dim your lights. ONLY because that is one thing that I can't really "ignore", whether it's high beams in my rear view or side view mirrors......or even oncoming motorists on the other side of the road, blinding me.
Use your turn signal! - can be avoided, simply by keeping my safe distance, since I may never know if or when they will turn.... Keep to the right; move out of my way! - can be avoided, by moving around them and speeding on my merry way. Slow down! - why tell them to slow down? Let them get a ticket....though, sometimes I wish I could tell the people to SPEED UP when I want to merge onto the highway..... Hang up and pay attention! - again, don't bother me, I just switch lanes if their conversation is aggravating me. Get off of my bumper! - again, can be avoided....usually I'll hammer on my windshield washer button, and give them a good blast :) Of course, depends how fast we are going, if it's 70+ mph, it tends to have an affect (they back off). OR, I tap my brakes once or twice, that moves them.
Turn on your headlights! - This was a close second......I've only had once instance where I found a driver driving in the middle of the night without their head lights on.....freaked the hell out of me....but it's not common enough of a problem to warrant yelling or screaming at them. Maybe a "honk" or a flash of the high beams will give them the hint though.
Dim your lights, you're blinding me! - This is the hardest to avoid. Sure, I can flip the rear view mirror up so it doesn't blind me as bad, but if they are bumper hugging, no doubt they will be blinding me in my side mirrors....this warrants yelling, honking, screaming. Can't say I've actually screamed at another driver though, but with all the choises, this would have to be it.
Watch where you're going! - I run into this quite a lot, usually they pull out in front of me, then I proceed to lay on the horn, sit in the middle of the road, and motion for them to keep doing what they intended to do, just so they can get that warm fuzzy feeling inside for doing something stupid as they did.

Nothing bugs me more than people who don't think about how their driving affects other people. One of the most common annoyances I have is people who are going to turn right off of a busy street, but don't pull over to the right so everyone behind them has to slow down with them. So...
Keep to the right; move out of my way! ... but for a different reason than that implied with this choice.

I voted for "hang up and drive" as the thing I'm most likely to yell at another motorist (in my head, more often than out loud, mind). I think cell phone-related distractions easily produce the most serious bad road manners, if not outright dangerous driving on the part of motorists - and almost all the other misbehaviors listed can be seen in a short span of watching someone talk on a cell while driving.
That said - failing to signal is just so common, it hardly even fizzes on me anymore. I think that like a lot of drivers, I anticipate that other drivers won't use their signals and drive as if I have to read other driver's minds - so I look for their eyes in their wing or rear-view mirrors, or watch for glances to the sides that telegraph lane changes or turns, or speeding up or slowing down to slot into gaps, and so on. I can almost see why people don't signal - I'm religious about it, but as often as not, other motorists move to cut me off as let me in if given warning I want over.

Bad poll. It is short of numerous additional appropriate remarks, then by "Other remarks not listed", followed by "All/any of the above" and then respond by "would never shout". Current stated question doesn't allow anyone to respond if they truly wouldn't shout anything!

Where is the "All the Above"? The ahem "drivers" (and I use the term loosely) here doesn't know how drive when it the sun comes out, sun goes down, if it's raining, if it's dry, if it's overcast or sunny. And really forget it if it a REALLY bright day.
Drive across the parking spaces just because it saves them a second instead of driving down the lanes in the malls. My own co-workers do and, and have almost hit me several times a week.

Over the last two days I have bit my tongue as all of these conditions have occurred so you can imagine what a bigger town has to contend with. People are just thoughtless and very inconsiderate of others.
