It wouldn't be that big of a commute if I had an economical vehicle. Since I do not, it takes about fifteen dollars for a round trip, eating up that paycheck in a hurry.

While at my one shore-duty command in the US (1972-1975), I decided that if it was more than 30 miles or 30 minutes to work, either move the work or move the home. 35 years later, it still fits.
