Of course, "Encana, the gas exploration company that owned the natural gas wells, disagreed vehemently." Which of the tobacco companies did not object to the study findings that tobacco was harmful and/or cancerous? DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

January of 2009, average gasoline prices were $1.79. Much lower than the July 2008 figures you used. Be honest!

Congress is considering a bill to open Alaska's ANWR now. Here's an opportunity to she who puts up roadblocks. The ANWR coastal plain holds America’s greatest potential for a major oil and natural gas discovery. The U.S. Geological Survey estimates the coastal plain has a 50 percent chance of containing 10.4 billion barrels of oil and 8.6 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. Even the recent oil discoveries in North Dakota pale in comparison to ANWR’s potential, which is likely to hold over four times more oil than any other onshore energy deposit in North America. ANWR’s oil reserves are worth $1 trillion at today’s oil prices of $100 a barrel. the oil resource is owned by the United States government: the revenue from oil production will go into the U.S. Treasury.

If you remove their taxes and our taxes at the same time you will find that we are paying the same amount. Look it up

"EVs will cause cancers with the high electromagnetic field around the driver" Good point! It just may be so.

But I do hope you have a Merry Christmas, and are not in an accident. I still see that crash very vividly. Drive safely.
