It won't "leak" more than we spill or burn. Besides, it is a finite resource.

Why should we just stop using fossil fuels. If we didn't use fossil fuels they would leak into our environment anyway and maybe cause worse pollution and damage. If we use it and put in place systems to minimize any damage and to clean it up, that maybe a better solution. Oil that builds up under the oceans, eventually leaks out and can cause pollution. ear ago before drilling, Oil leaked out of the ground and caused pollution. Now that we use that oil, we minimize the leaking oil the oil.

You asked today why Obama needs blame for 1ABC's tax-subsidized failure and the Chinese trying to buy their assets cheaply at auction. Obama, in league with the liberal media, forced electric cars into production through massive amounts of our tax dollars. The idea of electric cars sounds nice and green, but battery problems in this technology have been documented for well over forty years! Look at all the money wasted on solar, as well. You live in Michigan, I'm in Toledo; the suns shines here less than 40% of the year. Transportation and economies of scale also make such tech financially unfeasible. That's why the market has pounded both of these great Obama initiatives.

President Obama kept America from falling into a deeper recession like happened in Europe and is happening in China. The whole stock market has been falling since the beginning of April due to global worries. Even Apple lost 5% of its value yesterday. WE WILL OVERCOME!!! GM will eventually prosper again. However, America and GasBuddies need to be pursuing the development of abundant, cheap and clean American natural gas in the form of CNG as our primary alternative to oil based fuels. If you buy a new vehicle make it a CNG fueled vehicle. This would allow North America to become energy independent and free us from dealing with our enemies in Iran, Venezuela and the rest of OPEC.
