You drive a diesel?
When I traveled through Europe in the 60's I saw gas and deisel vehicles that were getting better mileage than the ones we are driving here today.
hybrid diesels would be great. if a high mileage diesel itself can get up to 60mpg or more, a hybrid version should easily get 80mpg. this would drastically reduce our fuel usage.
