A new report out by CBS news states that more than 4 of 5 teenagers are not getting enough sleep to function properly throughout the day. The reporter interviews high school teens who say that their activities cause them to go through the day tired, often falling asleep in class. Waaaaaaaah, give me a break!

Currently, teenagers almost never work a job during the school year. Todays teen has computers to organize, research, and produce their assignments which number less than most of us 30 and 40 somethings ever dealt with. Todays teen has far less household chores in terms of hours per week than ever before.

A couple of pieces of advice for our whining teens and their supporters: First, it is midnight, stupid...either go home, or if you are home, log off the computer, put down the telephone, turn off the cd player, and get some sleep. Second, welcome to the real world...Think it is going to get any better at college or your first few years working as an adult? Guess again.

TrainJunkie17 - It sounds like you're asking teens to parent themselves after believing what the media says to get you to pay attention to them. Do you think avoid acting responsibly?
