I am going to be rebuilding a 1976 F250 460ci engine in the near future. So far my plans are to stay very close to stock with the exception of replacing the timing chain and gears with the police interceptor chain and gears, using a “RV” cam like the Isky mile-a-more (which is not available for this engine), and getting rid of the Holly in favor of an Edelbrock.
This truck will not be a daily driver, I will only when I need to haul something.
