I didn't exactly keep going to the full site, but the first (and only) time I tried, I did. I don't know why either, all other website with mobile versions worked automatically, and now that I've been to the mobile version it goes there automatically without specifying m. - who knows? Another example of the stellar programming on this site, perhaps.
And no, I didn't take it as you being argumentative - it was clear to me that we were not connecting on some basic point, I just didn't know what. Now I do :-)
I learned a long time ago that communicating through text posts is imperfect and to allow a good bit of leeway since what you perceive is not always reality.

Glad to help.
The mobile site has been around for well over a year. It precedes the app even on the android platform. I am a bit surprised you kept going to the full site as I thought the default was to go to the mobile site when using a phone. In fact, to get to the full site using my phone, I have to go thru the mobile site first.
The mobile site has some advantages as there are no advertisements, it can be accessed from just about any device and your FSL is there. It also has some disadvantages.
I hope I did not sound argumentative just for the sake of arguing. I was simply pointing out that there are other options available. BTW, I support having FSL's available from any of the apps. I'm a bit surprised this is still unavailable on the iphone.

Thanks Scrapheap, forcing it to go to m.akrongasprices.com took me to a pretty well designed mobile site.
The first time I tried to use the website on my phone, I got the full website not a mobile version so I never bothered with it again. Assuming the mobile site has existed for at least a year (since I joined), have no idea why my phone didn't go there automatically.

The mobile site is not designed for a full size computer screen. Try m.ohiogasprices.com.

Because it is a royal pain to use a site like GB that is designed for a full size computer screen on a mobile device. Easier to use the map in the GB App than to fight my way through using the FSL on my phone.
Again, it would just be easier if the app supported the FSL because presumably they would design it to work well on a mobile device screen.

Why don't you use the mobile site?

By then, I've got a fresh set of prices (except for those times where I follow a different route on the return trip). My point is, I want to post the prices I have while they are as fresh and relevant as possible, especially when prices are as volatile as they have been lately. Since I have a smartphone, I can do that using the map - no big deal. It would just be easier if the app supported the FSL.

So you report prices in the afternoon and use the time spotted feature. No big deal.

Because the prices would be stale for my morning run - strict computer use policy at work. Similar issue on weekends - no computer at my Saturday morning destination, and no computer at church on Sunday. Plus, it would be far quicker and easier to use the app on my phone than to fire up computer, navigate to website, then enter prices.

Why don't you record the prices using a voice recorder and report them when you get to a computer?

But I don't usually post while driving for safety sake. Once I get to my destination I generally type them in- forcing me to hunt and search for that station I passed awhile back. Discouraging.

You aren't missing it, the Favorites Stations List isn't an option on the iPhone. I missed it at first too, but soon got used to using the Find Gas Near Me list and map views. Still wish I had the FSL though, especially for those days where I'm driving and can't safely post prices as I see them.
