Did you know that by simply waxing your car you can gain about 2 miles per gallon more. Is it just me or is it true, what do you think

I don't wax like I used to. It did not have any measurable effect on gas mileage.

For points I say yes Wax for More Personal Glances(MPG's) maybe a few more WOW's ! Stay light on the Pedal >>> both of them, Helps mileage......

I wax a couple times a year, but more for the finish than anything. I'm guessing that fuel savings around town would be negligible. On my trips maybe twice a year, not sure the savings would be 2 mpg.

The savings in mpg at normal highway speeds is probably negligible unless you are driving a significantly long distance.
